IFMA Louisiana Golf Tournament
Save the Date for the IFMA Louisiana Golf Tournament on November 2, 2026 at Pelican Pointe Golf & Country Club
July Member of the Month: Raeleigh Narro, AGM, Accounts at 365Labs
Raeleigh Narro is the Facilities Manager at Highland, a mixed use office park set on nine acres at the intersection of Highland Road and Bluebonnet Boulevard. In her role, Raeleigh helps manage the building, tenant needs, vendor coordination, maintenance items, and the day to day details that keep the property running smoothly. This is a part time role for Raeleigh, who also works full time at 365Labs as AGM, Accounts.
Highland has a campus like atmosphere and an eco friendly design reminiscent of Silicon Valley tech companies, with office and restaurant space nestled up against the Bluebonnet Swamp. 365Labs, which is headquartered at Highland, builds public safety software for law enforcement, criminal justice, and first responder agencies. As Raeleigh puts it, it is truly special to work for a company whose technology helps agencies operate more efficiently and better serve their communities.
Raeleigh has been a member of the IFMA Baton Rouge Chapter since November 2022, a little over three and a half years. She joined to learn more about the industry and connect with people who understand the real day to day responsibilities of managing a building. Facilities work touches so many areas, from vendors and maintenance to tenant experience and long term planning, and she wanted to be around professionals she could learn from. Not being from Baton Rouge originally, she has also loved building friendships with peers that will last throughout her career.
Her favorite memory so far? The chapter's inaugural golf tournament, where she met great people, learned from them, and enjoyed a round of golf and good food, all while helping raise money for the chapter. Even more meaningful has been volunteering as a board member. Raeleigh has genuinely enjoyed helping build a thriving chapter and cannot wait for what is planned in the year ahead.
Outside of work, Raeleigh stays busy with her one year old, which she lovingly describes as cardio with snacks involved. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending church, catching a new series, going to concerts, and cheering on LSU and the Saints. (She is more than ready for football season to return.)
Raeleigh's advice: "Stay organized, communicate clearly, and never underestimate the small details. In facilities, a lot of the work happens behind the scenes, but those details are what keep everything running. Be proactive and treat every challenge as a chance to learn. Some days you are planning ahead, some days you are putting out fires, and some days you are doing both before lunch. Keep showing up, stay calm, and remember that the work matters because people depend on the spaces we help care for."
